The whole world has witnessed, over the past days, the escalating violence perpetrated by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, which began with the events of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem and affected the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The escalation extended to the destruction of homes and areas inhabited by civilians, leaving hundreds of martyrs and injured people among them 41 Palestinian children according to the declared reports until now.

The Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) strongly condemns those barbaric practices against children and civilians of the Palestinian people, which represent a crime against humanity and a flagrant violation of the rights of the child guaranteed by the international covenants and conventions.

ACCD also calls for an end to targeting children and declares full solidarity with all coordinating efforts aimed at restoring calm.
