ACCD participated in the 33rd Arab Scout Camp in Dubai
ACCD organized training workshops for 600 Arab children at the Camp on
child rights, sustainable development and child friendly media
The Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) participated in the activities of the 33rd Arab Scout Camp held under the slogan “Scouting is a Sustainable Approach” during the period of 15 – 25 December 2023 at Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve in Dubai, UAE. The Camp was organized by the Arab Scout Organization and the Emirates Scouts Association under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai.
During the period of 16 - 18 December 2023, ACCD organized 6 interactive training workshops for approximately 600 children (14 - 17 years old) from 19 Arab countries at the Arab Scout Camp, on the issues of child rights, sustainable development and child friendly media.
