On International Children's Day:
HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal,
President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development,
calls for action and cooperation to safeguard children's rights
and ensure a better future for them
HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD), stated that "World Children's Day is celebrated on 20 November each year, and it is an important event to remind of the challenges children face, especially in our region, which is the most affected. Therefore, we must intensify efforts to encourage cooperation to reserve children's rights and ensure a better future for them".
The Twitter video message of His Highness, the President of ACCD, came on the occasion of the World Children's Day and included numbers and statistics on the most prominent issues of children at the global level.
In this video message, His Highness has also called for cooperation and solidarity in this critical stage, through ACCD, to take care of everything related to children, with a focus on launching programs concerned with the mental health of children and adolescents, and supporting local organizations and bodies specialized in caring for childhood and motherhood in the region, through official channels, in accordance with the laws and regulations of each country. His Highness has concluded by saying: "Let us work together for a better future."
