HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz confirms his continuous support to ACCD
ACCD announces King Abdul Aziz Prize for Scientific Researches in the Field of Childhood

Under the chairmanship of HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, ACCD's President, the thirteenth session of ACCD's Board of Trustees has been held on the 14th of March 2017 in Cairo.

At the beginning of the meeting, HRH Prince Talal has expressed his happiness with ACCD's successes and achievements that were accomplished during the past period, in addition Prince Talal has confirmed his continuous support to ACCD that is able to attract partners and donors.

The Board Members have appreciated the support of HRH Prince Talal and Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) to ACCD, as well as the qualitative leap of ACCD's achievements.

The session reviewed ACCD's achievements in 2016 and adopted its new strategic plan for the years 2017 - 2020, which consists of a number of components that include: early childhood development, the inclusion of children with disability in education and society, the rehabilitation and inclusion of street children "I have chosen hope", Arab Civil Society Forum for Children, Arab Media Observatory for Child Rights, and knowledge development that has included a new project to launch King Abdul Aziz Prize for Scientific Researches in the Field of Childhood (the topic of the Prize's first session is "upbringing and citizenship").
